Guo Mingxuan also pointed out that the new IMAC Pro is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2020. Apple has not updated IMAC Pro since it was first released in December 2017, so users have been waiting for this update for a long time.

DIGITIMES claims that Apple will also use mini LED backlight for "some models of LCD displays", but it is unclear whether this refers to IMAC / IMAC pro or a separate display.
