What Synthesizer Is the Best for Creating Retro Video Game Sounds ?

synthesized means man made cotton is a natural fibre nylon is a synthesized fibre a synthesized sound means not produced by an instrument like piano/guitar but is instead made using a digital code of 0 and 1 so, when you get ANY synth, they come with basic presets which you are supposed to change into the sound that you want. For the most basic explanation, if you changed ALL the presets to zero you would get a wind sound, or air movement sound. changing the sound waves changes the flow and direction of the sound (you will understand when you hear them) then theres all sorts of other things you can change attack= how instant the sound is made as you press the key. a slow attack means that the sound will start at no sound and increase in volume, a 0 attack means that it is instant (like a piano sound) decay= how the note fades away when you release the key 0=instant higher numbers means the sound remains when the key is released and fades away. so the answer is ANY synth can do what you want. The best synths are ENSONIQ though youve probably never heard of them, but they are standard equipment in recording studios (means kept of premises at all times) you can buy/download thousands of sounds to use. Go check ebay. the best older model is the SQ1 but they are getting hard to find. (batteries are available on ebay) Also, you dont need a synth to make these things, just download a rec studio program and then use the VST synths that are IN that program. You can download more VSTs and more VST sounds as well. You can even use your computer keyboard as a controller

5. How do you tell coated vs. uncoated papers? Are all natural papers uncoated?

No, there is no sure fire way to recognize uncoated paper. There are basically two type of coated paper. One is to enhance mainly the pritability of the paper, like most photo printer paper. The other is the glossy paper. Makes the paper look.. rich or expensive. There is also hot pressed, cold pressed, steam pressed, unpressed paper and all of it has special abilities and all of them (except the unpressed) may be coated or uncoated to enhance those abilities. Without knowledge or 'breaking' the paper you would not be able to tell it apart. On a side note: There is only one type of natural paper and that is paper made in an 'ancient' paper mill, or paper you make yourself from scratch. Any (and i mean any) paper you buy in a shop has at least 10% waste paper in it and you never know where that has been so... no way you can claim it to be natural. Usually paper is uncoated. Coating costs extra. Any watercolor paper is uncoated. The quality of that paper is made by recipe, cotton and woodpulp, and the way it is pressed.
