That's nothing new The Dogmatic Constitution of the Church "Lumen Gentium" from the Vatican II Council says so ______________________________________________ DOGMATIC CONSTITUTION ON THE CHURCH LUMEN GENTIUM SOLEMNLY PROMULGATED BY HIS HOLINESS POPE PAUL VI ON NOVEMBER 21, 1964 .(19*) Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life. Whatever good or truth is found amongst them is looked upon by the Church as a preparation for the Gospel _________________________________________ Only the fanatic fundamentalists believe they are the exclusive chosen ones PS: The same document says that Non Catholic Christians, Jewish, Moslems and members of other religions may also be saved by their good deeds

Pope Francis said Thursday he is convinced that global warming is "mostly" man-made?

I am guessing most of the flock is not so keen on his false causes masquerading as religion. He is having trouble separating his leftism from his Catholicism.. My brother in law was a Catholic priest and he earned a doctorate in the Vatican (he died early) and he met the great John Paul whom I greatly admire. What an embarrassment this Pope is by comparison and I am not even Catholic. Actually Georginia, you might be surprised. My brother in law, for example, had a biology degree from University of Irvine, and knew evolution quite thoroughly. There is a lot they agree on too.

Why do Conservative Christians attacks Pope Francis when he speaks of economic fairness in the world?

"Why do Conservative Christians attacks Pope Francis when he speaks of economic fairness in the world?" Never happened "Has money become the god of these Conservative Christians?" I have seen no evidence of them having such a position. "Yeshua was right to say that the love of money is the root of all evil." Well you got one out of 3 claims correct. God bless! In Christ Fr. Joseph
