Smartphone Maker Realme Said It Plans to Launch Smart TV in India in the Second Quarter

Madhav Sheth, CEO of realme India, outlined the company's diversified product plan and said that the company will appear in audio (headphones, earplugs), wearable devices (smart watches, bands) and smart home categories, including smart TVs, speakers, strip speakers and home appliances.

He added: "we will first launch TV in India in the second quarter."

Smart TV is also installed in the product portfolio of many smart phone players such as Xiaomi, Samsung, LG and micromax. Oneplus, a high-end smartphone manufacturer, recently joined the trend and launched two high-end smart TV models, which are only available in India.

Sheth said the focus will be on providing the best sound quality, visual clarity and good design through its smart TV portfolio.

"The factory is now reopening in China and the situation is expected to improve. We have been monitoring... Our manufacturing efforts in India have played an important role in meeting the demand here," he said
