Settings on the TV, eh? Great tech support, blame the OTHER equipment. Question is, does the computer have HDMI output or is it actually DVI output? DVI is video only, no audio. And you might think HP tech support would know the difference, but they argued with me about the equipment specs when I was reading it on their own website. Oh, if it turns out to be a DVI connector, then there is no way to get audio out of it. It's strictly to use your TV as a video monitor.

Tips: on the mobo look for a high FSB (front side bus) always make sure it also fits all your hardware! on RAM look for low Latency not high numbers ssd for faster boots and faster starting apps/gaming and store music and less used items on HDD on GFX card higher everything is better, bits, stream proc, frequency ect for case go bigger and add more fans but place them correctly to flow cool air in and hot air out try and always go GOLD on PSU AVOID LIQUID COOLING for now. and dont use duct tape ( its actually holding some fans in my case lol) its a bad habbit
